KSW 90 results: Arkadiusz Wrzosek stars on a night of knockouts in Warsaw
KSW kicked-off 2024 with an action-packed event that featured eight stoppages from ten bouts.
XTB KSW 90 took place Saturday night, January 20, live from the always electric Hala Torwar in Warsaw, Poland.
Former kickboxing standout Arek Wrzosek (4-0), known previously for his KO win over Badr Hari in GLORY, continued his incredible undefeated run in MMA with an amazing performance in the main event.
The Warsaw native took less than a minute to finish the vastly more experienced Ivan Vitasovic (12-6-1) and, in doing so, snapped the Croatian's six fight winning streak.
In the co-main event, France's Laïd Zerhouni (12-8, 1NC) silenced the crowd and put his name in the record books with a 12 second KO victory over Polish veteran Bartosz Fabinski (16-6). This finish registers as the forth fastest knockout in KSW history.
Elsewhere on the card there were finishes galore as Adam Soldaev (8-2) one punch KO'd Damian Stasiak (14-10), young Isai Ramos (8-1) shocked everyone with a quick submission win over heavy favourite Ramzan Jembiev (5-2), and the 'Mad Queen' Ewelina Woźniak (8-2) impressed in her debut submitting Alexandra Toncheva (5-4-1) with a wild reverse triangle.
