Cage Warriors 150: Jordan Vucenic vows to ‘keep getting better’ after securing a winning return

Jordan Vucenic revealed he is aiming to become the ‘complete martial artist’ following his impressive victory over Tiziano Ferranti.

Four months on from his unanimous decision loss to Paul Hughes in a unification bout, Vucenic was able to re turn to winning ways.

The Corby-native produced a second-round submission victory to begin his climb back to the top.

"Being on the losing end last time, I really tried to be respectful to my opponent," Vucenic told Cage Warriors. "Paul [Hughes] showed me that respect in the last fight and that's something I'm going to carry on to all my fights moving forward."

The 27-year-old admitted he felt somewhat deflated when entering the Ferranti bout, saying: "That last fight I gave it 110%, gave it everything I could and didn't come away with the win.

"It made me realise, sometimes it's all down to 'on the night'.

"I tried to be not too confident, just quietly confident. If I don't say all these big things I'm going to do, if they don't happen, then I haven't said it.
"When the big performances do come, they will be a surprise for everybody and a nice shock I hope."
Vucenic has now climbed to 10-2 following his victory in London. The featherweight has vowed to continue getting better on his road back to the top.

He added: "I'm willing to do anything to win now. Before I wanted to impress people in striking and wrestle, and now I'm going to be a complete martial artist.

"You're going see a lot more finishes on the ground, a lot more submissions. I believe I can MMA-up. I'm just going to keep growing and keep getting better."
