Luke Elder from Planet Sport gives us his three favourite tips across Wexford, Sandown and Beverley, on Friday July 2 2021 His first comes in what’s a busy week at Sandown, with the Eclipse on Saturday, but in the 4:40 Luke is siding with Noonday Gun, who runs in this handicap action for Richard Hannon, with Rossa Ryan on board. This runner, coming from great pedigree, needs a win and while finishing positions haven’t been great recently, there should be more to come.. At Wexford, in the 7:45, Top Moon for Jospeh O’Brien and Mark Walsh is the selection in some Handicap Chase action, over two miles and four furlongs. While the recent finish wasn’t great, some good performances in similar races to this one at Leopardstown and Thurles, could be an indicator of this runner having a great chance. Many of these may fancy their chances at the Galway Plate too. And finally at Beverley, in the 8:25, Forus is the play, from the in form Grant Tuer yard. Oliver Stammers the jockey for this one. With a win and a second place over only slighter shorter trips in the last two, Forus looks like an intriguing play for a stable you can’t ignore.
