Wolverhampton each-way racing tip: Can Mudlahhim land another win for in-form Tipstrr pundit

Each-way specialist Richard Hutchinson, who runs Read Between The Lines on Tipstrr, landed a tasty 10/1 winner at Ayr on Monday, so we’re hoping for more success from Tuesday’s tip from Wolverhampton.

Yesterday's selection Gainsbourg, was prominent throughout in the last race at Ayr, and responded well in the final stages under Jason Hart to hold off the short-priced 6/4 favourite, Ayr Poet, by half a length.

We're looking for more of the same at Wolverhampton from seven-year-old Mudlahhim, who has been in my tracker for a few months now, and looks interesting here over his optimum seven-furlong trip off a great mark after an ideal four-day racing gap.

He was decent in the past when with Kevin Phillippart De Foy and won three times on seven-furlong all-weather tracks off marks as high as 82.

He moved to Scott Dixon's yard after winning a claimer (when he was rated 89 in January 2022) and as is the way with Dixon, Mudlahim started to drop in the handicap, mainly by running over further.
The gelding had a spring campaign in 2023 where he started off a reduced mark of 63 and Dixon moved him back to seven furlongs and went close when Dale Swift was brought into ride after a four-day break, and this coincided with him being backed for the first time. He was touched off in third off a mark of 59.
Mudlahhim was given a mini-break and had a recent comeback run with Elisha Whittington on board, but Dixon looks to be going for it again, bringing Mudlahim back after a four-day break and jocking up Dale Swift (off a mark of 58).

The 8/1 available in this 11-runner race looks good value, especially if you can shop around for anyone offering an extra place, and he's worth a play unless his price drops below 6/1.

Suggested bet: Mudlahhim each-way in the 18:30 at Wolverhampton
