Friday night each-way racing tip: Unheralded poised to announce arrival at Limerick

Our friends at Tipstrr have studied their data to provide us with their most widely-tipped selection from Friday evening’s National Hunt meeting at Limerick.

19:45 Limerick: Fexco Asset Finance Handicap Hurdle (2 miles 6 furlongs)

The prohibitively low odds of the bottom-weighted Arctic Ambition suggests the favourite should win this with room to spare, but such a short price at the top of the market can only enhance the each-way value lower down, especially with most bookies offering five places for this 18-runner handicap.

That brings in the widely-tipped Unheralded, who is still yet to visit the winner's enclosure in half a dozen hurdling efforts, but who might have found his level in this lower-graded handicap.

After finishing among the places in back-to-back 14-runner affairs at Clonmel and Tramore in March and April, he appeared a little out of sorts last time out at Cork 20 days ago, when he weakened quickly after jumping left two fences from the finish.

He is clearly capable of better and jockey RP Geoghegan, who has piloted five of his last ten rides to a frame finish, brings a useful seven-pound allowance into the saddle, which might just be enough to put Unheralded in contention.

Suggested bet: Unheralded each-way in the 19:45 at Limerick
