Windsor top racing tip: Grey Fox poised to challenge market leaders

Windsor has seen some action this Coronation weekend, but on Monday night it’s the racecourse that takes centre stage, with our friends at Tipstrr pinpointing some potential each-way betting value.

19:50 Windsor: Follow At The Races App Form Study Handicap (1 mile 2 furlongs)

If the betting market is a true indicator, then this handicap is destined to be a two-horse race between the two short-priced market leaders, Dubai Souq and Tamarama.

Their jostling at the top of the betting makes the remaining each-way place up for grabs at an appealing price, with the remaining six runners all priced between 10/1 and 66/1 at the time of writing.
Of those, Grey Fox stands out as a contender who could not only make the frame, but might even please the bookies by finding his way to the winner's circle.
Emma Lavelle's six-year-old gelding has won four times at Windsor, including both of his last two races here last summer, and he could well benefit further from a breathing operation since his last outing in September.

On board is the under-rated Hector Crouch, who has steered 13 of his 74 rides to success this season, and who also boasts a profitable record at this course, and in handicaps everywhere, over the last five seasons.

The race could well go as the market expects, but it will be no surprise to see Grey Fox putting the two favourites under pressure on the run-in.

Suggested bet: Grey Fox each-way in the 19:50 at Windsor
