Haydock top racing tip: Conditions ideal for No Cruise Yet

Tipstrr horse racing pundit Steve Jones has shared his best bet of the day in the shape of No Cruise Yet, who should find conditions at Haydock perfect for him to justify his market support.
No Cruise Yet beat fellow market leader Your Own Story by more than eight lengths when the pair clashed in a soft-ground handicap over today's trip last November.
Ridden by today's partner, Jonathan England, No Cruise Yet was sent to the front in the early part of the race, after which he made every yard, getting stronger as the race went on.
In the style of a strong-staying chaser with a fine attitude, he withstood a strong, protracted challenge from the runner-up, Poppa Poutine, which lasted from the second-last right up to the line, refusing to let that one past.
Very significantly, No Cruise Yet races on exactly the same terms with Your Own Story, so it is hard to see how the latter can reverse that large margin of defeat on virtually identical ground.
No Cruise Yet was given a short two-month break following his success and he has returned to action in even better form, in the manner of a very progressive staying handicapper.
He finished a very good third of 13 in the valuable Class 2 Eider Handicap over an extended four miles, one furlong on what is another galloping, left-handed track at Newcastle.
No Cruise Yet once again put in a bold, prominent-running display, regaining the lead after having been headed seven out. He was only finally overhauled approaching the final fence on what is a track with a stiff uphill climb to the line.
Next best bet: Rath An Iuir
Of the others, the 10-year-old Rath An Iuir finished two places (and 11 lengths) behind No Cruise Yet in the Eider. He is down a pound today and is particularly well-handicapped off 117 compared to the 135 he was off at the start of last year.
He won a 26-furlong handicap on heavy ground at Kelso (another flat, left-handed track) on his penultimate outing at the end of last year and he will be more at home on this ground than on the good-soft of the Eider.
All five of his career wins have come on either soft or heavy and, together with No Cruise Yet (a three-time winner on soft), he drops down in grade today.
