Wednesday's 2023 Cheltenham Festival tips: Best bets for the ITV races

After an amazing first day at Cheltenham where Constitution Hill and Honeysuckle claimed the glory, the Planet Sport tipsters are back with more hot tips for day two on Wednesday, March 15.
Planet Sport's tipsters and betting experts have been studying the form to give you the best chance of success at the Festival.
Three Grade 1 races for the ITV cameras to get stuck into on Wednesday, with the Queen Mother Champion Chase the highlight.
Throw in the Coral Cup and the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase and we have another exciting day ahead.
First up we'll give you a quick list of the horses with the best chances for the main five races that are being shown on ITV this Wednesday afternoon.
Then for those of you that like a bigger price we have a handful of juicy each-way selections to get the mouth watering.

Hot tips for day two of the Cheltenham Festival
13:30 Ballymore Novices' Hurdle - Impaire Et Passe
14:10 Brown Advisory Novices' Chase - Gerri Colombe
14:50 Coral Cup - Run For Oscar

Strong each-way selections for day two of Cheltenham

The nod goes to the unbeaten Impaire Et Passe, who is one of four Willie Mullins horses in a race he won last year with Sir Gerhard.
The five-year-old made a big impression when scoring on his Irish debut at Naas in December and took a step forward when comfortably winning the Grade 2 Moscow Flyer at Punchestown on heavy ground a month later.
Barry Connell's Good Land is also worth a look after a near-flawless season, the only defeat being a first-fence unseat on his debut run over hurdles at Fairyhouse in December.
He is proven to handle soft ground and a longer trip.
The form of Champ Kiely, if you ignore a fourth-placed finish at Fairyhouse in December, shouldn't be taken lightly, while Paul Nicholls' Hermes Allen, ridden by Harry Cobden, is another to consider.
14:10 Brown Advisory Novices' Chase - Gerri Colombe
Gerri Colombe should be able to comfortably deal with the step up in trip and the soft ground to score for Gordon Elliott in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase.
The seven-year-old has cruised through from the point-to-point field to bumpers, hurdles and the novice chase division, all without suffering a loss in eight starts.
Over fences he is already a dual Grade One winner, taking the Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick by four and a quarter lengths before landing the Scilly Isles at Sandown in February.
Given 15 of the last 16 winners of this contest have finished first or second in a Grade 1 or 2 novice chase, the only two to meet this trend are Galia Des Liteaux and Gerri Colombe.
The pointers provided by his pedigree are also positive, with Saddler Maker producing a host of soft-ground loving stayers such as Bristol De Mai, Discorama and Alpha Des Obeaux.
14:50 Coral Cup - HMS Seahorse (e/w)
Paul Nolan has not always been blessed with the rub of the green at this meeting, so with that in mind HMS Seahorse would be a deserved winner of the Coral Cup.
And if the market vibes of recent days are anything to go by, he has every chance, with course experience from his close fourth in the Fred Winter last year another positive.
There have been some good weight-carrying performances in recent renewals of this race, which bodes well for Run For Oscar, who is in the right bracket as he bids to give his trainer, Charles Byrnes, a first winner in this race.
Having romped home in last year's Cesarewitch, the gelding has high-class form under both codes of racing and, considering he was third in the Grade 3 Stayers' Handicap Hurdle at Haydock on his penultimate start, he offers strong appeal at this level over a more suitable trip.
His chance is enhanced with Philip Byrnes taking 5lb off with his claim.
15:30 Queen Mother Champion Chase - Edwardstone
Edwardstone is fancied to return to winning ways in the Queen Mother Champion Chase for Alan King after losing out to Editeur Gu Gite on his last start and unseating the time before.
Last season's Arkle hero, he was an easy Tingle Creek winner when starting his campaign but departed early in the Desert Orchid Chase at Christmas and was then just defeated in the Clarence House the following month.
That latter loss was by just a head, however, and now Editeur Du Gite's front-running ways are slightly more familiar, it is likely that Edwardstone will be ridden to suit and he can claim another Festival success.
Willie Mullins' Energumene charge may have had excuses for his lacklustre effort in the Clarence House but the way he finished that race was worrying so might be worth steering clear of.
Paul Nicholls' Greaneteen could be worth an each-way shout.
16:10 Glenfarclas Chase - Galvin
Galvin looks like being another Gordon Elliott-trained winner of the Glenfarclas Chase over the cross-country course.
Not far off Gold Cup standard at his best, but he has stablemate Delta Work to beat.
An interesting contender that could present some value to hit a place is Francky Du Berlais, who was still well in contention jumping the last over track and trip in January and he is 5lb better off with the winner, Back On The Lash, from that effort.
