Tipstrr’s popular pick for Chester: Cite D’Or tipped to strike gold in Cheshire Oaks

The Cheshire Oaks serves up an intriguing race at Chester on Wednesday, and Tipstrr’s experts have looked beyond the odds-on favourite to lean heavily towards some more appealing each-way value.

There's no denying that Savethelastdance and Ryan Moore make a good case to be hot odds-on favourite after landing her maiden victory in impressive style on her on season debut at Leopardstown 35 days ago.

However, her short price is of little value to the average punter, although it does have the benefit of increasing the odds of her seven rivals, and Cite D'Or has certainly gained plenty of each-way traction among the Tipstrr community.

Her six juvenile outings brought two wins and two runner-up spots and hinted at a bright three-year-old campaign, but that optimism took something of a nosedive after two disappointing runs at Meydan and another in France earlier this year.

However, hope has been rekindled after a much more promising performance at Epsom last time out 15 days ago saw her finish a creditable third behind Epictetus and Hadrianus, who runs in the Chester Vase later.

Both of last year's wins had Pierre-Louis Jamin at the reins and his return to the saddle, along with the application of first-time cheekpieces could be the catalyst that helps this promising filly fulfil her potential.

Suggested bet: Cite D'Or each-way in the 14:40 at Chester
