Newcastle racing tips: Dougies Dream and Mostallim hunting frame finish

Tipstrr each-way specialist Lem Tips has cast his expert eye over the Newcastle race card to pick out a couple of prospects that are capable of out-running their current market price.

Dougies Dream looks very interesting here, as he is now down to a mark of 63 and is also dropping back into Class 6 company.

He finished eighth last time out at Newcastle, but I would be willing to forgive that performance in what was his first run in over three months, and he should be in better shape now and that outing gave the impression of being something of a pipe opener.

He went off at 4/1 in a Class 5 handicap here back in October off a mark of 68 and finished sixth on that occasion, but it was a blanket finish in which he was barely a couple lengths behind the winner.

His only previous course-and-distance start in Class 6 company saw him win by a comfortable margin, and the same jockey, Faye McManoman is in the saddle again here.

At the top of the market, Eleven Eleven in particular looks vulnerable, and as I would price Dougies Dream up at 6/1, anything 8/1 and above appears to offer good each-way value.

In the following race, the switch of jockeys from Ali Rawlinson to Freddy Larson looks very interesting, especially with his three-pound claim.

Larson has been on board for five of Mostallim's seven victories, and dropping from 0-75 to 0-70 company today should allow him to be more competitive than his most recent outings.

Their seventh-placed finish last time over this course and distance was better than the bare result appears, as he was just four lengths off the pace and showed good character to rally towards the finish in what was a strongly run race.

This race looks significantly weaker than Mostallim's last outing, and with three above him in the market all having their vulnerabilities, I would be 7/2 for this horse and anything above 4/1 represents decent value.
