Taunton each-way racing tips: Aurigny Mill and Mr Grey Sky can defy outsider odds

The new week brings fresh betting opportunities, and one of Tipstrr's horse racing services hopes to kickstart proceedings with a couple of each-way selections from Monday's meeting at Taunton.

I am eagerly awaiting Aurigny Mill's handicap debut, but until then, I'm willing to give him a chance in this novices' race at a track where his trainer, Victor Dartnall, usually gets good results.

He was handled with care when coming seventh of 18 last time out at Wincanton in early February after an extended break, and although improvement is required he should be in better shape for that pipe opener.
The top heavy-market has increased each-way value lower down the betting, and if either of the two favourites should falter, then Aurigny's Mill could be in contention for a frame finish.

Kim Bailey brings Mr Grey Sky to Taunton, and the bookmakers appear to have underestimated this gelding, especially in light of the fact that the yard's horses seem to be hitting some form after spell in the doldrums.

The nine-year-old grey has been away from the track since before Christmas, so he should arrive fresh after more than three months off.

He disappointed in that outing, but assuming he is in shape and fresh, then he should produce a performance more in keeping with his potential, and the small field should allow him the freedom to race on his own terms.
