Friday racing tips: Best bets for Perth, Punchestown, Doncaster, Chepstow and Southwell

Sandown's Friday meeting has been abandoned after heavy rain left the course unfit for racing, but there's five other meetings for the Planet Sport tipsters to consider on April 28.

First up, let's get some info on each of our highlighted selections, then you can find a full list of tips further down the page.

Don't forget to check out the racecards, results and live odds in Planet Sport's racing live centre.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

13:30 (Perth) Ginger Mail

Ginger Mail can go one better than on his previous two outings when he lines up in theĀ Lengthen The Odds At BetVictor Handicap Hurdle.

Nick Alexander's seven-year-old followed up his decent runner-up effort at Kelso when half-a-length second to Traprain Law At Ayr, with the pair well clear.
Cuban Cigar struck at Musselburgh on his latest outing and he merits respect from a 4lb higher mark, while previous course and distance winner Well Planted can't be ruled out on his first start post wind surgery.

13:40 (Doncaster) Hoots Toots

Hoots Toots can complete a four-timer for Michael and David Easterby in the At The Races App Form Study Handicap.

14:05 (Perth) Gentleman De Mai

Gentlemam De Mai has taken to fences well, without having much luck and that is expected to turn in the BetVictor Highland National Handicap Chase.
Rose Dobbin's representative was twice runner-up in three-mile handicaps at Ayr and Wetherby is clearly a progressive chaser.
Though the step up to three and three-quarter miles is an unknown, he lacks nothing for stamina and this looks a good spot to get off the mark in this sphere.
Lucinda Russell's Destiny Is All was a good second over 3m5f at Warwick 47 days ago, the nine-year-old may benefit from a further step up in trip and his current mark ought to be well within range.
Stablemate Return Fire is worthy of consideration, along with If Not For Dylan, who has always given the impression a marathon trip would play to his strengths. Geryville should not be underestimated either.
