Fontwell each-way racing tip: Toad of Toad Hall looking to stay the distance

It might be a quieter day at the races, but Tipstrr’s team of pundits have been as busy as ever picking out their best value bets, including this each-way pick over the jumps at Fontwell.

Beyond the short-priced favourite, Doyen De Ante, the quality among the rest of the field looks more evenly spread, and that has caused a ripple of interest within the Tipstrr community for the early market outsiders, Uallrightharry and Toad Of Toad Hall.
The former of the two is the highest-rated in the field and will have to cope with carrying a stone more than half of the field, and indeed more than two stone more than Toad of Toad Hall.
The three-pound claim of jockey Philip Armson makes him bottom weight, and it was the same rider who guided the seven-year-old gelding to a win and a runner-up spot here at Fontwell around this time last year.
He has failed to scale those heights since and was pulled up in three of his last four outings, and he returns to the track 16 days after his latest effort. His price is already tumbling, and if he can see out the distance, there could still be time to catch him at a decent price in a low-key race.
