Cheltenham Festival 2023: Turners Novices' Chase tips - Mighty Potter looks too strong

The Festival moves to Cheltenham’s New Course for the last two days, with the runners in the Turners Novices Chase giving our friends at Tipstrr the chance to kickstart day three with a winning tip.

The runners for this opening race get to break in the fresh ground in what promises to be a competitive Grade One renewal that has produced some notable winners in the past.
Last year, Bob Olinger romped to a 40-length victory under Rachael Blackmore after odds-on favourite (and this year's Gold Cup favourite) Galopin Des Champs fell at the last.
Only four runners lined up for that race, but the 2023 version looks a much more competitive affair with another odds-on favourite Mighty Potter up against 2021 Supreme Hurdle winner Appreciate It.
After pulling up in last year's Supreme Novices' Hurdle Mighty Potter bounced back to win at Punchestown a month later, and has hit the ground running this season with a hat-trick of successes that culminated in an emphatic Grade 1 win at Leopardstown in early February.
With Davy Russell again in the saddle, it's hard to see Mighty Potter getting anything but the best ride possible, while two race-day withdrawals have limited each-way value in the reduced seven-runner field

Top tip: Mighty Potter
