Bank Holiday Monday each way racing tips: Two to follow over the hurdles at Warwick

A full Bank Holiday racecard includes a National Hunt meeting at Warwick, where one of Tipstrr’s pundits has picked out a couple of promising each-way hurdling prospects.

Although Wide To West is yet to show much in his three hurdling efforts so far, several aspects of today's outing might eke out a more promising performance.

Firstly, this is his handicap debut and he unsurprisingly carries bottom weight, giving him a stone or more advantage over the two market leaders.
Secondly, his pedigree suggests he might be cut out for stamina tests and this big step up to three miles and a furlong should give him more time to utilise that, and to find his pace and hurdling rhythm.
This has led to much more market support than he is used to (he was sent off at 100/1 in his previous two outings), and any bookmaker offering extra each-way places further enhances his value for a frame finish.
Suggested bet: Wide To West each-way in the 15:12 at Warwick
15:47 Bet at racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle (Div 2, 3 miles 1 furlong)

A lightly-raced former point-to-point winner, Catuaba drops down to Class 5 company for the first time after having competed at a highest level so far.

It will also be his first race over three miles, having never previously travelled beyond two and a half, so three pounds claimed by promising jockey Lily Pinchin could be useful.

Catuaba has not been seen on the track since December, but trainer Charlie Longsdon usually has his horses in very good shape at this time of year, and he has good form at Warwick, having produced two winners and eight places from his 22 previous runners here.

The two market leaders will take some beating, while bottom-weight Tis But A Scratch might also feature, but Catuaba holds decent each-way value to be in the mix at this level.

Suggested bet: Catuaba each-way in the 15:47 at Warwick
