SPICY HOTPOT (12) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when third over 7f at Newcastle. Going well without winning and looks well placed to break through. NORTON ROAD (9) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 4.5 lengths when eighth in a 5½f contest at Hawkesbury three-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. KILLER KERR (13) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 4.5 lengths.
