INFAMOUS COVERT (1) started favourite last time out over 1m1/2f at this track but found a couple better, making it two minor placings from three starts this campaign. He is well placed to break through. COLEYVILLE (3) was safely held when eighth last start over 7f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at this track. Enjoys a drop in grade so he will prove hard to beat. MISTER MESEEKS (4) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when eighth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1m1/2f at this track. Has the talent to produce a better result. STOP THE HUMBUG (2) won at this track two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing fifth over 1m1/2f at this track. Well placed to make amends.
