STAGE MASTER (5) started at 3/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 7 lengths at Albury over 7½f after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. BRILLIANT BADGER (2) was never in contention last time over 7f at Seymour when he finished ninth, beaten 9 lengths. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. WALKER ROAD (6) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 8 lengths, over 7f at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. JOYAS (8) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when she was beaten 2.25 lengths into seventh over 6f at Warracknabeal. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
