UNCUT GEM (10) returned last time with a solid third at Kempsey over 6¼f. Likely improver with strong prospects. WELCOME BACK (11) again failed to feature last start, finishing fifth and beaten 2.25 lengths over 7f at Coffs Harbour. Rates highly on best form and should go a lot better. QUIET APPROACH (3) was never really in the hunt last time, drifting back early and winding up 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6¼f at Taree. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. ATOKA (7) finished 9 lengths from the winner in fifth at her most recent outing over 4½f at Scone after she got a long way back in the run. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
