KHUMBILA (2) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by half a length as public elect over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. IRRESISTIBLE FORCE (11) strode forward early from his wide draw over 6¼f at Cairns last time, leading into the straight but fading right out of it to finish seventh. Commendable record at this trip with a win and eight minor placings and should be hard to stop. CIFONELLI (12) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 5f at this track. Aidan Holt has registered two minor placings when on board. Expected to measure up. CHARTWELL (4) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when 12th and beaten 4 lengths over 7f at this track. Finds a nice race and can atone.
