Expected to run well again. VARAZZE (10) again failed to feature last start, finishing sixth and beaten 9 lengths over 7f at Coffs Harbour. Strong chance to open her account. PURPLE PRINCE (9) was always well back over this course and distance last time and never threatened in the straight, beaten 10 lengths into tenth. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. LYKOS (5) is a 11-start maiden who went close to shedding the tag last time when second over 6f at Port Macquarie.
