ROYAL CONSORT (4) returns from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when fourth over 5½f at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Dirt). Record here is impressive with two wins from four starts. Should run well. WEIRD YEAR (7) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a fourth at Louisiana Downs (Dirt) two starts back then landed the prize by 2.25 lengths last time out after being prominent at the corner over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. LET'S GO RANDOM (5) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6½f at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. NEW DICE (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.5 lengths over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Well placed and should be about the mark.
