BLOOD AND SAND (7) is taking on the jumps for a second time after he came down at his first attempt (2m1 1/2f) at Pakenham two weeks ago. Big chance to put the record straight. Grade 3 winner BELL EX ONE (2) is a reliable performer who is mixing the disciplines well. Clocked-in third last start over 1m7 1/2f on the flat at Warrnambool after he got the job done (2m3 1/2f) at this track the run before. Sure to play a big role. TOM FOOLERY (5) did well to clock-in second in a (2m1 1/4f) at Warrnambool then ran a nice race last time found one better (2m1 1/2f) at Pakenham 14 days ago, 14 lengths behind the winner. Hard to leave out.
