LIGHT INFANTRY MAN (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over 1m in the 7 Stakes at Randwick after he got a long way back. Will strip fitter and is all set to find winning form. KOVALICA (5) turned in a good performance last time over 1m in the 7 Stakes at Randwick, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in fifth after he was well back on straightening. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Can win this without surprising. LINDERMANN (2) continues to race well with a win in a in the G2 Chelmsford Stakes at Randwick before finishing a nose away in second last time over 1m in the 7 Stakes at Randwick. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will be in this for a long way. KING Set Weights OOD (10) knuckled down strongly to get within a long neck of the winner in second last start over 1m1/2f at Flemington when fresh from a break. Goes up a notch this time but is not to be discounted.
