PURO (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Port Hedland, beaten 8 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. HEZAZEB (1) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before fading to finish fourth over 6½f at Port Hedland. Well placed and expected to feature. WARBY RANGES (2) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 14 lengths, over 6½f at Port Hedland after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Has further improvement to come and is expected to run well. FRIES WITH THAT (6) is returning from a lay-off of seven months. Finished 16th at Northam over 7f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Michael Ball.
