QUICK COOKIE (5) got well back over 6f at Port Hedland last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 8 lengths away in seventh. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PERCUSSION PRINCE (7) showed good early dash at the first run after a lay-off last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 2 lengths away in third over 6f at Port Hedland. Well-placed and should be tough to rein in again. HOLDOUT (6) last appeared a month ago over 1m1/2f at Narrogin when he finished ninth. This is his first run for the Timothy Pike stable. One of the genuine hopes in the race. BIG KARRI (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 9 when beaten 5 lengths into sixth at Port Hedland over 6f. Can break the run of outs.
