WINGED MESSENGER (3) made steady progress through last summer and rounded off the season with a victory in the Ayr Bronze Cup handicap over 6f. That was on soft ground however is effective tackling any surface and will be hard to beat if fit and ready to go. ARTAGNAN (2) was not disgraced tackling an the inadequate trip of 5f at Ascot three weeks ago. Might prove capable of getting more involved back up in journey. NOVAMAY (4) looked in need of the outing at Ripon when trailing in last of nine. Must bounce back to better form here. BADRI (1) is well exposed. Could appreciate the drop in grade and warrants a market check.
