CONJOIN (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 20 lengths when fourth in a 1m contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. FIRST FEELING (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten 8 lengths over 6f at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. FIREFINCH (4) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on December 14, finishing 12th and beaten 7 lengths over 5½f at Bordertown. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. One of the main contenders. INITIALLY (2) ended up 9 lengths behind the winner in eighth on debut last start over 5½f at Gawler. Will take a lot from that experience. Anticipating a better performance.
