ROSE JESS (5) finished seventh when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1f80yards at this track, beaten only one length after being in contention on the bend. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. POLITA CHICK (4) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time out over 1f130yards at this track. Deserves a win and should do much better this time. MAZZIKEEN (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1f at this track, beaten 1.1 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. FIVE BAR PANTHER (1) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage eighth over 1f at this track (Dirt). Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
