MASTER OF WAR (4) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Wyong two starts back before finishing fifth over 1m2f at Taree last start. Finds a nice race and this might be his day. KHARIF (2) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle last start after being prominent at the corner, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Wyong the run before. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is set to turn things around. WILL THE THINKER (10) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 3. 5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f at Wagga three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Can play a big role. PROPHET'S PROMISE (5) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 2. 5 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 6½f at Canberra. One of the main contenders.
