SHAL EXCEED (10) was below his best last time when 11th over 1m at Bendigo, beaten 8 lengths. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can find the winners' list. CITY PRO (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 7f at Morphettville Parks, beaten 6 lengths into eighth. Has the class to produce a better result. CREEK (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 16 when beaten 2. 75 lengths into fourth at Morphettville Parks over 6¼f. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. LADY LUPARA (14) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 14 lengths away in tenth over 1m2 1/4f at Strathalbyn. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
