Has the class to build on that encouraging effort last start. MISS GOSSIP GIRL (6) again failed to feature last start, finishing 11th and beaten 22 lengths over 7f at Coleraine. Rates highly on best form and should go a lot better. PIERRE LE QUILL (10) was safely held when resuming last start over 5f at Ballarat, finishing 13th and beaten 6 lengths. Backmarker who keeps coming. One to consider. ALESUND (1) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent outing over 5½f at Gunbower. Worth plenty of thought.
