SHINOVAR (5) was well in commission last start over 6½f at Lone Star Park (Dirt) when third, beaten 4 lengths. Rates highly and expected to atone. SELL THE BUFFALO (1) is still a maiden after 10 starts. Could only manage to finish seventh last time out over 7f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) following a minor placing at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Likely to play a major role. TAP NOW (2) was in the money at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) when resuming two runs back then could only manage fourth at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) over 7f seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Shapes well and is among the main hopes. KHOZY'S OPERETTA (6) raced on the pace last start and lifted strongly to hold second, beaten 7 lengths, over this journey at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Taking on a better field but she is good enough to take this out.
