BOUNDLESS OPTIMIST (6) scored an overdue maiden win last time out, getting home by a nose over 1m at Turf Paradise Turf (Turf). Shaping up nicely and he is likely to feature in the finish again. LUCKY N LAWLESS (1) closed last prep 12 weeks ago when he finished fifth over 1m1/4f at Fairgrounds. Looks to have an edge on most of these. DETTORI (13) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at Lone Star Park, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. EXPO CITY (2) saluted two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when second over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten half a length. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
