RED FEATHER BOA (12) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 6f at this track, finishing second and beaten a head. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. GRANDEUR ROSE (13) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 6f at Sunshine Coast, finishing fourth and beaten 1.4 lengths at 20/1. Expected to be in the finish again. PLATINUM GIFT (11) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start over 5f at Grafton, beaten 1.5 lengths. Fitter for that run. Capable of another top-three outcome.
