HEARTS ARE RACING (5) did a good job last start to finish second at Toowoomba over 5½f, beaten half a length. That run should have her rock-hard fit now. Ready to win. SKI BY (10) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 5.5 lengths when seventh in a 4f contest at this track four weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. WITHEREN LASS (3) made debut at this track and finished in the placings before going for another break. Will strip fitter for recent trials and must be included in calculations. ICHIKA (8) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 3 lengths when eighth over 4f65yards at Gatton. Backmarker who gets home hard. Sure to be competitive.
