The engagement of Troy Baker is noteworthy. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. BERSERKER (2) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 1m at this track to finish 0. 9 lengths from the winner in third. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and four minor placings from seven starts. Looks one of the prime contenders. CARNELIAN ROCK (4) was beaten 4. 5 lengths into sixth in a 6¾f contest at Devonport Synthetic a week ago. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
