NOT WRITTEN OFF (7) raced on the pace when resuming last start and lifted strongly to hold second, beaten 0. 7 lengths, over this journey at Muswellbrook. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. HELLCIBELL (6) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Has a strong record at the third run in and is sure to be about the mark. SARATOGA POWER (3) improved sharply on his tenth two starts back at Wellington with a win over 5f at Muswellbrook five weeks ago, getting home by half a length after being prominent at the corner. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. CHANDON STAR (4) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 5½f at Dubbo after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
