Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and shapes as a key contender. DELRICO (9) has switched yards since finishing fifth a month ago over 1m2 1/4f at Doomben. Has found a suitable race and can take this out. SONOFDEC (4) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Canterbury but couldn't back it up last start when sixth, beaten 4 lengths, over 7f at Kembla Grange. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SMOKE ON THE WATER (12) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1. 5 lengths over 7½f at Muswellbrook. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
