RUSSIAN BOBSHARK (4) ran below expectations last time at Sandown-Hillside, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths starting at 9/2. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SOUTHERN FIRE (12) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Bendigo, beaten 6 lengths into seventh. Has the talent to find the winners' list. TREVENSON (5) had a bit on his rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 2.25 lengths maiden win over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with John Allen who was on board last start. Harder this time but still one to consider. LADY NEGRONI (14) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1.75 lengths over 6f at Warracknabeal. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
