BE REAL (4) back from a brief lay-off and tackles a synthetic track for the first time. Opened last prep with a fifth at Turffontein Inside over 1m1/2f. A big return looks on the cards. LADY WRITER (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1m2f. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Likely improver with strong prospects. UNYIELDING (1) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only a nose, over 1m at this track. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One to consider. CHRONICLESOFNANIA (3) was beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 1m at this track last time out. Finds a nice race and can atone.
