SUNRISE JOURNEY (6) broke through for a win last start when second up from a lay-off, scoring by a nose over 5½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt). Lay-off so he looks very hard to beat. RIVOLI (2) returns from a break of ten weeks. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a second over 6f at Belterra Park. Finds the right race to launch another bright campaign. EL DIABLO ROJO (3) showed little early speed last start then picked up the bit in the straight to finish third at Los Alamitos (Dirt) over this journey. Record at this journey is strong with three wins from eight runs and is expected to be competitive. PERFECT D (4) was beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth in a 5½f contest at Los Alamitos at his latest appearance. Well placed to make amends.
