CLOTILDA (12) has threatened to be competitive in a handicap of this nature including when a neck second at Cheltenham over 2m1f during April. Needs to prove as good on quicker ground. Rates a big runner from the Paul Nicholls stable. NARRAGANSETT (6) disappointed in latest hurdling at Plumpton attempting a class four handicap finishing last of three beaten 3L. Was favourite that day. Needed the run on the flat at Epsom Downs and could play a role. AVIEMORE (3) will be fitter than most following his run on the flat last month. Twice a hurdle winner. Interesting. GIBBS ISLAND (1) was far too keen when last seen.
