MIR (5) did well to score at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when in contention on the bend before finishing second over 5f at this track, beaten 0.7 lengths. Has raced five times here and has never missed the frame. Finds a suitable race and can return to winning ways. CRYSTAL VAIN (1) had been in top form, scoring two consecutive wins before being sent out favourite last time and finishing fourth over 6f at this track. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Best figures should see him run well. BLAZING TYCOON (2) returned from a break last start with a mediocre tenth over 6½f at Belmont Park after travelling back in the field from the outset. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to be prominent. MARXIAN (3) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 3 lengths into sixth over 6f at this track. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
