Race Tip

This looks a straight battle between Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott runners. The first of the Mullins horses is DAVY CROCKETT (3) who has always hinted the possibility of a huge engine and maybe Harry Cobden can harness his ability switching to fences. Sam Ewing rides SCALPNAGOON (9). Finished runner up three weeks ago and should be capable of better here. Respect. KOVANIS (4) rather lost his way on the last two hurdle outings. Might be seen to better effect now attempting fences. SONY BILL (11) is ridden by Paul Townend. Highly tried at times when hurdling and is best watched providing initial chase outing.
