Minister For Magic (18.30 Kempton)

Alrehb (19.00 Kempton)

St George's Bay 19.30 (Kempton)

Here's just a few of the reasons why Planet Sport fancies our three main picks from the all-weather feast at Kempton on Wednesday, December 5.

18.00 Kempton - Covert Mission

Kevin Philippart De Foy's Covert Mission has been ducking under the radar, especially when it comes to winning recently but is always there or there abouts.

A fifth last time out at Kempton was no disgrace in a 14 runner field and he takes on the same number of runners in a very modest Racing TV Handicap.

Daniel Muscatt gets the leg up with a solid chance of putting a one in front of Covert Mission's reasonable form.

18.30 Kempton - Minister For Magic

This wizardly pick said expelliarmus to the opposition when winning a Killarney maiden at 50/1 and was quickly snapped up to race over the Irish Sea for Harry Dunlop.

That one miles, three furlongs win on soft going shows that Minister For Magic has plenty in the tank for the extended Unibet Novice Stakes.

Jason Watson is the capable rider in the hot-seat and it won't take much magic to win this modest event.

19.00 Kempton- Alrehb

Kevin Phillppart De Foy is an up and coming Newmarket trainer and although his name must cost a bomb to apply to a football shirt he can make an impression with Alrehb.

A favourite of Planet Sport, the consistent Alrehb hasn't finished outside of the top two in any of his three career starts on the all-weather.

A one-mile specialist, Alrehb was just held off last time out at Newcastle by Tyrrhenian Sea but before that won on debut at Lingfield when trained by Charles Hills.

Always likely to give you a run for your money, Alrehb will likely be on the money at the business end at Kempton in the Unibet Casino Deposit £10 Get £40 Bonus Handicap.
