14.35 Wetherby - Lord Caprio

This Ben Haslam hurdler was in solid form for a lot of 2021, posting a nice win at Sedgefield on his penultimate start in November.

A faller at the third in his last race at Sedgefield put paid to any chance the six-year-old had, with Haslam's charge tailing home in eighth.

The bare form of that run may mean there is value in keeping the faith with Lord Caprio in the Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap Hurdle with Richie McLernon up top.

As long as this Lord is a-leeping then this price could prove to be generous.

15.35 Wetherby - Imperial Hurricane

The familiar black and white silks of Imperial Racing have has great success with Imperial Aura for Kim Bailey and look to have another good recruit with Imperial Hurricane.

The son of Black Sam Bellamy is an athletic type and half-brother to the 126 Racing Post rated Hi Ho Phoenix, trained by Willie Mullins.

With a solid pedigree and in the hands of experienced trainer Kim Bailey, it will be no surprise to see this Hurricane blow away the field on debut in the We're Racing Next On 15th January Open NH Flat Race.

14.50 Lingfield - Mhajim

These novice events, by their very nature, throw up surprises with all sorts of green types finding their way on the track.

All eyes will rightfully be on John and Thady Gosden's Azaheer in the Watch Racing Free Online At Coral Novice Stakes, who finished second last time out at Lingfield for Shadwell Estates.

That may mean Mhajim, another Gosden runner goes under the radar with the hefty 200,000 guineas yearling representing more powerful owners in Al Shaqab Racing.

Kieran O'Neill gets the leg up and Mhajim can run better than his odds suggest on debut.
