14.25 York - Ville De Grace

Pete is all in on the Sir Michael Stoute trained Ville De Grace in the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Middleton Fillies' Stakes.

In a rich vein of form, the four-year-old filly hasn't been out of the top three in her last four starts.
A winner at Newmarket on her penultimate start over the distance, here's a snippet of why Ville De Grace can do the business under Richard Kingscote.
"Now this horse didn't do well at this meeting last year, really struggled actually at York, however the last couple of times has looked absolutely superb over at Newmarket,"
"Won the Pride Stakes, second in the Dahlia Stakes and actually looks very very quick indeed at the moment."
"At the time of recording this horse is around about the 5/1 mark. I think that is way too big, so Ville De Grace, the star pick for me."

13.50 York - Strong Power

Ever in search of value, Pete sees fortitude in Strong Power for Alice Haynes in the Paddy Power 'Making Flat Less Flat' Handicap.

This five-year-old has been performing well on the all-weather in five furlong sprints and Pete is backing the gelding to switch to turf with aplomb.

Kieran O'Neill takes the reins and here are a few of the reasons why Strong Power can live up to his name on the Knavesmire.
"This has become a bit of a Lingfield specialist, of late as well has perhaps struggled, you might be worried about the recent third and fourth placed finishes but I look at that form back in January."
"Some fantastic victories and some really good runs, this is a horse that in this field has every chance of getting into the frame. Yes there are better horses within this race but I think this horse absolutely will get a wink towards the line."

15.35 York - El Bodegon

Pete is keen on James Ferguson's classy El Bodegon in the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Dante Stakes.

Plying his trade in France has been successful for the Kodiac colt, winning the prestigious Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud, last time out in eye-catching fashion.
Daniel Muscatt gets the ride and here is a snapshot of why El Bodegon can do the business in the Dante.
"Won at Sandown last Summer before going on a bit of a French adventure, got wins at both Chantilly and Saint-Cloud before coming back to York for this week's action."
This horse has got a great chance of getting the win, yes the ground might be a little bit too firm for this horse, that's a question that will get answered on Thursday."
"I'm willing to take the jump on this James Ferguson runner to take down the clear favourite Desert Crown for Sir Michael Stoute."
