Kingson (12.30 Newcastle)

Lord Paramount (13.00 Newcastle)

Lunasa (13.30 Newcastle)

Society Red (14.00 Newcastle)

Spartan Fighter (14.35 Newcastle)

Wabbal (15.10 Newcastle)

Cephalus (15.40 Newcastle)

Take a look at our three prime picks and a snippet of why Planet Sport says the trio can prevail in the Toon.

14.00 Newcastle - Society Red

Northern trainer Richard Fahey is no stranger to success at Newcastle and his course and distance winner Society Red can follow up in the Betway Handicap.

That Newcastle win came last February but the eight-year-old has most recently won over the distance on the all-weather at Wolverhampton.

Desert Emperor presents an obvious danger but Society Red's form at the North East track should prove crucial under a patient Connor Murphy ride, who takes off three pounds.

Society Red can leave this small field feeling blue here.

14.35 Newcastle - Spartan Fighter

This fighter will have an almighty tussle in the betting ring with market rival Millionaire Waltz but should come out on top in the MansionBet Beaten By A Head Handicap.

A tremendously consistent type for Anthony Brittain, Spartan Fighter hasn't slipped out of the top two in his past four runs.

The Dutch Art gelding won gamely over course and distance last time out, beating Tadleel by a head.

The five-year-old returns to Newcastle fighting fit and can put his millionaire rival to the sword under Cam Hardie

15.40 Newcastle - Cephalus

Charlie Hills sends Cephalus on the long trip from Lambourn to Newcastle chasing an all-weather hat-trick in the Watch Racing Free Online At Coral Handicap.

The Cable Bay colt won last time out over the mile distance, putting a full three lengths between himself and David Loughnane's Art Expert.

Before that, Cephalus showed a bit of speed and bravery for a short head, seven furlong victory at Chelmsford.

Cephalus can prove his class over this small-runner field with the up and coming Marco Ghiani aboard.
