Planet Sport have pinned down three top picks for Kempton and you can read more detail about them below.

16.10 Kempton - Wild Crusade

The well bred Wild Crusade is a full brother to Charlie Appleby's Breeder's Cup Turf winning Yibir.

With the legendary Dubawi for a sire and the well regarded dam Rumh, Wild Crusade is bred to do better than this Unibet Casino Deposit 10 Get 40 Bonus Novice Stakes.

Yet, it's a competitive Class nursery, with a stablemate by Frankel to contend with but Wild Crusade's last time out second at the course will be invaluable.

That runner-up spot saw Wild Crusade stay on over one mile, three furlongs and the extra furlong should suit and with the talented Tom Marquand on board a win won't seem so wild.

17.45 Kempton - Isola Rossa

The "skeleton man" James Fanshawe has more than a slim chance in this one mile handicap, being one of the most underrated trainers in Newmarket.

His Isola Rosso was a distance winner last time out at Lingfield, beating John Ryan's Goddess Of Fire by a length.

Before that, the four-year-old was only beaten a head over a mile at Kempton meaning the filly is in fine fettle.

Daniel Muscatt gets the ride in the Unibet Handicap after posting a couple of all-weather Chelmsford wins on Thursday.

19.15 Kempton - Coltrane

If the race was won on a trainer having talked up his horse, Coltrane would take this Unibet New Instant Roulette Handicap hands down.

There was talk of the St Leger after Balding's stayer won the Melrose at York in 2020 but Coltrane had to settle for the Cesarewitch, in which he finished a not too shabby ninth at Newmarket.

But a sixth of six at Newcastle wasn't in the plan last time out after being gelded and Coltrane comes to Kempton with plenty to prove.

But we'll stick with a horse with bundles of potential, hoping this Coltrane is as smooth as his namesake Jazz musician John rather than the lumbering Hagrid actor Robbie.
